Today, we had a great experience at the Innovation for Health 2022 event at RAI Amsterdam, together with OnePlanet Research Center. They had the opportunity to introduce young entrepreneurs and innovative organizations in the life and sciences sector to their ongoing research in sensing technologies.
Thea van Kemenade (Director of Health OnePlanet Research Center) and Eva Wentink (Principal scientist OnePlanet Research Center / imec) presented their new innovation; Smart Bathroom for Health, a toilet that is able to measure multiple health related aspects from users, by the use of sensors in the toilet seat. The Smart Bathroom for Health is a perfect example that utilizes the sensing technology that OnePlanet is working on. Moreover, the topic stimulated many interesting discussions from the attendees and allowed for a successful interaction between life sciences and health specialists.
Kadans was also present with an exhibition stand at the event, which produced many new networking connections with companies and professionals in the field. We would like to thank Thea and Eva for taking the opportunity to introduce one of their sensing technologies to the world on this amazing day. We are very satisfied with this year’s outcome and are looking forward to the next Innovation for Health event!
