The demand for sustainable ways of handling energy and accelerating the energy transition is increasing. Cellcius thermal storage technology can store heat and reuse it later at another location. A consortium of investors consisting of Brabant Startup Fonds, Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij, Innovation Industries and Goeie Grutten Impact Fund as well as co-shareholders TNO and TU Eindhoven are investing a total of €1.2 million in Cellcius.

This investment enables Cellcius to further develop and expand its thermal battery technology. This is an important milestone for the Eindhoven start-up and a major advance in the development of technologies that enable emission-free heating and drastically reduce CO2 emissions.
