Following the success of multi-tenant building Plus Ultra at Wageningen Campus, owner and developer Kadans Science Partner has started the construction of its successor: Plus Ultra II.

Because of the increasing demand for commercial offices and laboratories at the university campus, a new multi-tenant building is developed.

The new building, attached to its predecessor, will again offer space for companies in the knowledge intensive industry. Besides offices and laboratories, Plus Ultra II offers other research and meet & greet facilities.

Plus Ultra was completed by the end of 2015. As an incubator for starting and growing businesses in agriculture and food, it’s a meeting ground for knowledge-intensive organizations, where innovative ideas are nourished.

Plus Ultra II will connect innovative businesses, start-ups, scale-ups and student starters working in the field of nutrition, agriculture, sustainability and health.

The new four storey building measures 10,500 sqm. Wageningen University & Research has already signed a long-term lease for 1,500 sqm intended for the start-up community. Plus Ultra II will physically be connected with the Plus Ultra community through a skybridge, creating one vibrant environment.

In developing the building, Kadans aspires high sustainability standards, aiming at a BREEAM-NL Excellent certificate. In addition, Plus Ultra II will be highly flexible in terms of layout, to meet every future tenants’ needs.

Kadans Science Partner creates open innovation hubs with vibrant communities for the knowledge intensive industry. As a science park investor, developer and operator, Kadans is involved throughout the full life cycle of campuses and their businesses.

In collaboration with Wageningen University & Research, Kadans is convinced Plus Ultra II will be just as successful as its predecessor Plus Ultra.
