The Automotive Campus in Helmond, located in the Brainport Region, is the national and international hotspot, meeting place and a potential business location for Automotive companies. Contrary to what the name suggests, the focus of the Automotive Campus extends beyond Automotive. The campus is an open innovation ecosystem and has the ambition to be the Dutch hotspot for research & development, design, modeling, engineering, testing and assembly & production in the field of Automotive, but especially in the field of mobility technology. The focus is on Green and Smart Mobility.
The Automotive Campus offers an attractive environment for learning and working, state-of-the-art technology and related (test) facilities, as well as flexible living concepts.
The Automotive Campus is the place to be in the Netherlands when it comes to Automotive innovation and Automotive related production. Dutch and foreign companies are attracted to the establishment climate of the Automotive Campus. The open innovation ecosystem of companies and knowledge institutions have a strong relationship both among themselves and with other companies and organisations in the Dutch Automotive ecosystem and a strong focus on cooperation. The facilities on the campus are leading and (largely) unique. The companies and people on campus are stimulated and guided to get the best out of themselves in order to grow into leading Automotive players.
More than 1,250 people – including some 600 students – work on the mobility solutions of the future on the Automotive Campus. They do this with leading companies, knowledge institutes, innovative start-ups and educational institutions in the field of Automotive. In just fifteen years, the campus has become the national and international hotspot in the field of Green Mobility and Smart Mobility.
The Automotive Campus in Helmond is easily accessible by public transport. The Helmond train station is within 15 minutes walking distance and is signposted. There is a regular bus service to the Campus every half hour or you can use Bravoflex. The Automotive Campus can be reached by car via the A67 from Venlo or the A270 from Eindhoven.
