About AV-Huis

The AV-huis on the TripleO Campus in Breda is a multi-tenant building for professionals who work on creative subjects. An innovative office building that invites to collaborate with colleagues. The AV-Huis features multiple facilities needed by AV and media professionals, like studios, meeting rooms and even a small movie room for viewings.

The ‘Audio Visual House’, mainly and popularly known as AV-Huis, fits Kadans’ ambition seamlessly. The office building was built very sustainable in 2011 and is acknowledged as such by being categorized an label A-office building and therefore receiving an accordingly green-certificate. For having these qualities, Kadans saw the office building as a welcome addition to its portfolio of sustainable buildings and purchased it in the beginning of 2017.

After becoming the owner of the building, investments were made by Kadans in the Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (a sustainable energy system), solar power and the usage of sustainable wood to make the building even more sustainable.

The main reason for the AV-huis being a one of a kind building is because of its purpose. The office building was built, in collaboration with the municipality of Breda, specifically for the Audio-Visual branch. By creating such a specific building for exclusively this branch, the building consists of only tenants who have its working discipline in the Audio-Visual sector.

Tenants

The AV-huis houses over then 20 companies all affiliated to the creative and technological Audio-Visual industry. The focus lies on companies working with vision, sound, games, image, multimedia and animation.

By respecting the vision of the municipality of Breda, Kadans created a unique setting and ecosystem for tenants all active in the same branch who don’t see one another as competing firms but as neighbors of whom they can benefit from with the main goal to speed up innovation and collaboration within the AV-branch.
