Babraham Research Campus is situated on a 430 acre landscaped setting. It is located within UK’s Golden Triangle (Cambridge – London – Oxford) which is one of the world’s leading concentrations of Biotechnology and Life Sciences. Only 10 kilometers (6 miles) away from central Cambridge, Babraham Research Campus is easily accessible by both car and public transportation. Babraham Research Campus offers a supportive community as well as excellent amenities and facilities that allow members of the community to focus on developing their science as well as taking time to enjoy various activities.
The Babraham Institute provides unique research facilities, which have been developed with significant investment from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC). Organisations can benefit from access to these facilities, coordinated by Babraham Institute Enterprise. The campus also provides an Accelerator program, Accelerate@Babraham to support the development of new science concepts and companies.
The campus offers various amenities, including conferencing and meetings rooms, a bar, coffee shop and restaurant. There is an on-campus childcare facility, the Babraham Nursery, and a sports and social club, which arranges events throughout the year and also runs the on-campus gym, tennis court and football pitch, available for use by all.
