Specially for Eurofins (formerly BLGG AgroXpertus), Kadans Science Partner has completely renovated and expanded the Ten Houten building on Bio Science Park Wageningen. The former university building includes over 11,500 square meters of office and laboratory spaces for Eurofins. The building has been completely updated and adjusted to the wishes of the user. There has been invested in architectural and buildings services engineering, including various user-specific facilities. Kadans has aimed at a sustainable approach of investment, to free up means for Eurofins to invest in their core business.
Eurofins performs soil and plant research. One of the reasons for Eurofins to move to Binnenhaven 5, was the close proximity of the Wageningen University Research (WUR), one of the leading research and knowledge institutes in the Agro, Food and Biobased knowledge domains.
From 2010, the building is named after its street address. Previously it was called Ten Houten.
