Surfix develops a test method for corona diagnosis

Surfix, located at Wageningen Campus, together with their Dutch partners Lionix International and Qurin Diagnostics and supported by public-private partnership Photon Delta develops a test method for corona diagnosis and immunity detection.

The aim is to have SARS-CoV-2 testing devices in doctors’ offices, which yield reliable test results within 5 minutes.

Surfix was founded in 2011 as a spin-off of the Organic Chemistry laboratory of Wageningen University & Research and is located in Plus Ultra on Wageningen Campus.

Learn more about Surfix and meet their biochip team in the Surfix vlog below. They dive into the workings of the coated photonic biochip and how these technologies can help with the rapid and reliable detection of pathogens such as cancer or covid-19. Check the Surfix website for more information.
