GRONINGEN, July 1 2021 – In addition to its own development of Plus Ultra Groningen, Kadans Science Partner is also adding the ZernikeLab on Campus Groningen to its portfolio. Owner Erik Kremer will join Kadans Science Partner as Commercial Manager (part-time). He will focus within the commercial team on the commercial operation of the ZernikeLab and the construction Plus Ultra Groningen, both located on the Campus Groningen – location Zernike.
ZernikeLab
The ZernikeLab is over 2,600 m2 in size and has 80 parking spaces distributed across the front and back of the location. It is a multi-tenant building with laboratory space and offices specifically intended for start-ups and scale-ups in the knowledge-intensive sector. In recent years the ZernikeLab has already proven to be a “breeding ground” for various successful knowledge-intensive companies. Its location next to the Rijksuniversiteit and Hanzehogeschool and its direct connection to the fiberglass infrastructure and the immediate vicinity of data centers make it a perfect location for companies from the knowledge-intensive sector.
Campus Groningen is the center for innovation, research and business in the Northern Netherlands, which is developing strongly. With the development of Plus Ultra Groningen and the acquisition of the ZernikeLab, Kadans is adding one of the largest campuses in the Netherlands to its international network.
KRE Real Estate
Erik Kremer is the owner of the Groningen real estate company KRE Vastgoed and is also the owner of the ZernikeLab in Groningen. KRE Vastgoed engages in project development and invests for its own account and risk in Northern real estate properties. Besides project development and investments, KRE Vastgoed also carries out various management activities for third parties.
Erik will be working part-time for Kadans Science Partner. Within Kadans, Erik will focus on the leasing of the ZernikeLab and the Plus Ultra Groningen that is currently under construction. He will also be involved in the further growth of Kadans’ real estate portfolio in the North of the Netherlands.
